McDonald’s is shaking up its menu in a big way, introducing Fish McNuggets as the fast-food giant dives deeper into seafood.
Chicken McNuggets are one of McDonald’s most iconic items, with spicy editions and regional twists popping up over the years. Now the Golden Arches is testing something totally new by swapping poultry for Alaskan pollock.
The new Fish McNuggets look identical to their classic chicken counterpart, just with a seafood twist. Golden, crispy, and served with the usual dipping sauces, they’re already sparking buzz among McDonald’s fans who have been curious about a fish-forward snack.

But there’s a catch. The new nuggets are only available in Singapore for now. They debuted on October 30 and are only sticking around for a limited time.
Pricing comes in at roughly $4.90 USD for six pieces, $5.80 USD for nine pieces, and $11 USD for a 20-piece box, according to Eatbook. Customers can pair them with BBQ, Honey Mustard, or Curry Sauce.
The seafood shift doesn’t stop there. McDonald’s Singapore also rolled out a Tom Yum Prawn Burger featuring a prawn patty, veggies, and Tom Yum mayo. There’s also a chicken version on offer for anyone who wants the flavors without the shellfish.
Whether these Fish McNuggets will swim over to North America remains unclear. McDonald’s hasn’t commented on a global release, but big regional hits often influence future menus.
