McDonald’s has launched a new set of Happy Meal toys full of mini versions of items found in the restaurant.
Every month or so, McDonald’s reveals a new lineup of Happy Meal toys that kids around the United States can enjoy.
In June, for example, the meal comes with a toy featuring one of the characters from the new Pixar movie Elio. Before that, Squishmallow fans could get one of 12 unique stuffed toys alongside their McNuggets.
Now, McDonald’s has created almost two dozen new toys designed after various things you can find inside the restaurant.
McDonald’s set to launch ‘Lil McDonald’s’ Happy Meal
The new toys launch on July 1, and include 21 different mini toys from a tiny register, a boo bucket, Happy Meal Box, and even the drive thru menu board.
“As a parent, there’s something magical about watching your child’s imagination come to life with these tiny toys,” said Anna Engel, McDonald’s Director of Marketing, Brand, Content, and Culture, in a press release.
“That’s what makes Lil McDonald’s so special. It brings back my own childhood memories of playing McDonald’s, and now I get to create new ones with my kids.”
On top of the new Happy Meal toys, McDonald’s is holding an in-person experience on July 19 and 20 in Los Angeles, California, where they make the toys “life-size for big family fun.”
For those who can’t make it to LA, however, will be able to scan the box to unlock a special game called Drive Thru Dash. In it, users will be able to “race to take orders and rack up high scores” inside a virtual McDonald’s.
