Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are once again speculating about the game’s soundtrack after resurfaced comments from Panama and new remarks from Neon Indian sparked fresh rumors about Rockstar Games’ music plans.
Music has always played a major role in the GTA series, from curated radio stations to original tracks tied to key missions. With GTA 6 still one of the most anticipated releases in gaming, even small hints about the soundtrack have been enough to reignite discussion online.
The latest wave of speculation centers on two artists with previous ties to Rockstar.
Artists spark new GTA 6 soundtrack speculation
Screenshots circulating on social media show Panama replying to a fan on Instagram, writing: “I’ve got a song called ‘Back to Life’ I wrote with @poolside it’ll be on GTA 6.” The comment was later deleted, but not before it was widely shared.
The track in question appears to reference Panama’s 2023 release. While Rockstar has not confirmed any involvement, fans have pointed to the apparent direct mention of GTA 6 as more than coincidence.
Meanwhile, Neon Indian also fueled rumors during an appearance on the This Podcast Should Be Played Loud. When discussing his song Polish Girl in GTA V, the artist said: “That ain’t the end of me and Rockstar Games, I’ll tell you that. That’s all I’m gonna say. I can’t discuss more.”
Neon Indian previously contributed to GTA Online’s introductory mission music, leading some to believe the relationship with Rockstar could be ongoing.
A separate post from social media user ben, who shared the Panama screenshot, claimed that artists breaking NDAs with Rockstar is not unprecedented, referencing past examples including Snoop Dogg’s involvement in GTA Online’s The Contract update in 2021.
Rockstar Games has not publicly commented on either claim.
