MrBeast has launched the first episodes of his new animated project, ‘MrBeast Lab’, on a new YouTube channel called Beast Animations. The episodes were released on October 26 and mark the official debut of the series.
The project was first revealed in July when a trailer was posted on X, confirming plans for a storyline focused on MrBeast and his crew.
The early episodes introduce an animated world where MrBeast and his team uncover a threat known as the Shroud. Using technology inside the MrBeast Lab, the characters create Hybrid Beasts designed to take on the mysterious creatures. The series connects directly to the MrBeast Lab toy line by bringing those creations into a narrative setting.
There are currently two episodes available, each running around three minutes.
MrBeast explains why they’re so short
Alongside the release, MrBeast posted to X to explain the format of the initial drop.
“BeastLabs is out now! Episodes are only 3 minutes because hiring so many talented artists is expensive, and I want to practice before I make a full-length 12-episode/20-minute show. They crushed, let me know what you think.”
The creator also noted that the team behind the shorts features a number of professional animators.
In December 2024, MrBeast released the reality competition series Beast Games for Amazon Prime Video. The show involved 1,000 contestants competing for a prize pool which ultimately reached $10 million — the largest single cash prize in reality competition history.
Beast Games became Amazon’s most-watched unscripted series, hitting more than 50 million viewers in 25 days and charting at number one in over 80 countries.
