YouTube megastar Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has praised IShowSpeed for being on a “generational run” following his return to Twitch.
When IShowSpeed was banned from Twitch back in 2021, he quickly made YouTube his home. The streamer has turned the Google-owned platform on its head, making it a destination for massive livestreams as he ventures across the globe, meeting thousands of fans.
There has been plenty of talk about him ditching YouTube for pastures new, too. He had a deal with Rumble to stream alongside Kai Cenat, and Speed’s Twitch channel has been unbanned, allowing him to return to Twitch.
He has done so, but it has been on a multistreaming basis with his YouTube channel. It has been a massive success for the American content creator as he has topped the viewership charts on both platforms for some of his European tour broadcasts.
MrBeast shows IShowSpeed love over Twitch dominance
While his content hasn’t changed, he has drawn plenty of praise for his dominance, including from MrBeast – someone who he has regularly worked with.
Following Speed topping the viewership charts on both platforms, Donaldson took to X (formerly Twitter) to show him some love.
“My god, speed is on a generational run. Love seeing people crush it in their own unique way,” he posted.
As noted, MrBeast and Speed have linked up for a few streams together, with Donaldson even suggesting that he could get Speed to race a real-life cheetah at some point.
Speed’s European tour shows no signs of slowing down either, with massive crowds following him around Bosnia, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey. He even had NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo join him in Greece, with the Greek Freak offering to put him in touch with Michael Jordan. Yes, that Michael Jordan.
