YouTube superstar Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson revealed that he has “committed” to making Beast Games for the next 10 years as the second season has gotten underway.
Over the years, there have been a few attempts to take online content creators and make them television stars. While a few have fallen flat, there have also been a few success stories in there too.
MrBeast, who has the most-subscribed-to channel on YouTube, is one of those success stories through the launch of his Beast Games series on Amazon Prime Video. The first season brought in big viewership numbers for Prime Video, and the second season has already gotten off to a fast start.
When it comes to the long-term future of things, Donaldson has “committed” to hosting the show for the next decade, even if it is a massive undertaking to get the sets built.
MrBeast “committed” to doing Beast Games long-term
During a chat with Dexerto, Jimmy revealed some of the biggest challenges around the second season of Beast Games. The biggest of which, for him, is building a “massive city” to host the participants.
“Definitely, the biggest challenge is putting together a city. Every year we have to put together and design a new city and literally build it and we’re making this a yearly thing,” he told Dexerto.
“So, I’ve just committed you know, potentially, for the next ten years of my life where every year I’ll have to build a freaking city.”
The YouTube superstar noted, though, that the city building isn’t all bad. His “favorite” part of this year’s build is the rooms that the contestants are staying in.
Beast Games has already been renewed by Amazon for a third season, so it appears as if it won’t be leaving television screens anytime soon.
