Funko might have just spoiled a major Caesar’s Legion twist in Fallout Season 2 as images of new figures have surfaced online ahead of the last two episodes.

The second season of the Prime Video show expands the world of the post-apocalyptic franchise by bringing New Vegas into the fold from the 2010 game of the same name. With that comes the devious Mr. House (Justin Theroux) and new factions like the New California Republic and Caesar’s Legion.

The Legion are a large faction of survivors who live in a ruthless Roman empire-inspired culture, led by one man called Caesar (although they mispronounce the title as Ki-zar). In the show, Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) come across a large horde of Caesar’s Legion members who are locked in a civil war as two camps follow two separate Caesars. The groups are separated by a small chunk of desert that has become No Man’s Land.

But images of upcoming Funko figures might have spoiled a major twist in the Caesar’s Legion storyline at the end of Fallout Season 2. Warning: potential spoilers ahead!

Macaulay Culkin plays Lacerta Legate in Fallout, but images of his Funko figure reveal that he’ll become Caesar by the end of Season 2. The figure is packaged as “Caesar” on the box, and he’s depicted wearing the golden laurel crown along with a sword.

It seems likely that Lacerta Legate seized his chance to take power during the chaos when the Ghoul blew up the Caesar’s Legion camp during Episode 3. Both warring factions had their own version of Caesar, which is why the group was split in two to begin with.

Fans spotted the new figure and quickly took to Reddit to discuss the upcoming twist ahead of the season’s last two episodes.

One fan pointed out that it was inevitable because of Culkin’s casting, writing: “I think we all knew that would happen. You wouldn’t pay for Culkin and have him play a bit part.” Other fans pointed out that Prime Video already made the reveal in the trailers for the second season.

Another Redditer explained: “We got that spoiled on the trailer already lmao – but it looked like it even before the reveal, the current Caesar looked like he was being handled by Lacerta already. My bets are by the next episode, he’ll either die in-battle or get assassinated and Lacerta takes over to march on Vegas as a rallying cry.”

It’s a valid point, because there is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot of someone from the back who looks remarkably like Culkin wearing a golden crown, as seen above. An earlier theory suggested that Lacerta Legate will unite both factions of the Legion to march on to New Vegas, giving the Brotherhood and the NCR a common enemy to fight.
