A brand new trailer for Fallout Season 2 has emerged from the vault, revealing an iconic moment that fans have been waiting for.
Amazon had fans biding their time with a livestream of Bud Askins’ roomba brain bouncing around the screen over the Fallout logo before the trailer dropped, as the marketing around the show continues to lean into the signature zany humor of the much-loved video games.
Fallout Season 2 will see Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) go on a twisted roadtrip with the Ghoul/Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins) to New Vegas, as she goes looking for her villainous father, Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan).
The first trailer gave fans a glimpse of New Vegas, Mr. House (Justin Theroux) and a Deathclaw. But the fresh footage serves up the brutal moment that fans have been desperate to see.
Fallout Season 2 delivers a Deathclaw Power Armor brawl
The action-packed footage delivers an accurate depiction of New Vegas, as Lucy and the Ghoul head into Freeside, meeting Ghoul-versions of the Kings, Mr. House on his big screen, and even a Deathclaw roaming the streets.
Thankfully, Maximus (Aaron Moten) is on hand in his Power Armor to get into a brawl with the monstrous lizard in a cinematic beatdown that fans have been waiting for since the first season. Although eagle-eyed viewers might notice that he’s wearing an NCR Ranger helmet instead of the usual Power Armor chrome dome.
In fact the NCR isn’t the only New Vegas faction to show up in the trailer, as Macaulay Culkin briefly appears as a member of Caesar’s Legion. Clearly, Fallout Season 2 is trying to be as faithful to New Vegas as possible, which will no doubt be hugely satisfying for fans.
