A brand new horror game has become a major talking point in the gaming community after revealing that you can take down monsters using epic WWE wrestling finishers.
Horror games are meant to be scary, and one of the best ways developers do that is by making your character seem powerless, weak, or just completely out of their depth. Sure, there’s the odd jumpscare or twisted cutscene like in Silent Hill f, but powerlessness is a major point in the genre.
That is, until you meet this new indie game, Welcome to Doll Town, where you play as Yumi, a student who gets a job at the convenience store. During this, she discovers cursed dolls, plenty of death, and tons of monsters. However, despite her young looks and the unexpected turn of events, she’s far from a powerless student. In fact, she’s able to perform hilarious WWE wrestling moves on anything in her way.

Sharing some footage of their indie game on X, developers Bad Wish Games revealed the combat coming in Welcome to Doll Town.
The gameplay showcased Yumi decimating what looks to be a haunted doll, punching it until finally she takes on a WWE finisher move, slamming the enemy to the ground.
Naturally, the post quickly went viral, with many asking the developers to add more finishing moves. Others already seem convinced, commenting “I’m in, that’s all I needed to see,” while others echoed the sentiment with “Wait…are you telling me I can fight possessed dolls with my bare fists, and even use wrestling moves on them?” and “Let me initiate the fight with a running clothesline and my money is yours.”
