Crocs is teaming up with Nintendo for the first time, bringing the world of Animal Crossing to its iconic footwear in a new collaboration.
Animal Crossing is one of Nintendo’s most beloved franchises, known for its relaxing gameplay, charming characters, and life-sim mechanics. Since its debut in 2001, the cozy game series has been a worldwide phenomenon, allowing players to build their dream island, befriend animal villagers, and escape to a peaceful, nature-filled world.
Now, that cozy charm is stepping into the real world. Crocs is teaming up with Nintendo for the first time ever, bringing the world of Animal Crossing to its iconic footwear in a new collaboration launching, August 26, 2025.
Crocs x Animal Crossing collab
The limited-edition collection includes two models: the Animal Crossing Platform Clog for adults and the Classic Clog for kids. Both designs channel the cozy charm of the hit life sim series, with forest-green tones inspired by the island landscape and ocean-blue soles that nod to the game’s seaside vibes.
Crocs fans can also personalize their pair with exclusive Animal Crossing-themed charms. Characters like Tom Nook and K.K. Slider are featured alongside classic in-game items, including a house and an apple tree, giving you some cute customization options.
The collaboration marks a first between Crocs and Nintendo, and the collab is designed to help fans “step into a relaxing, nature-filled world with [their] favorite characters right at [their] feet.”
This isn’t Crocs’ first collab with a major gaming series. In recent years, the brand has launched themed footwear based around Minecraft, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Sonic the Hedgehog.
