One Piece Chapter 1154 makes a major revelation about one of the primary antagonists of the series, so here’s what you need to know.
As the second arc of the manga’s Final Saga, the Elbaf Arc is bound to introduce some very important characters. One such new character is Loki, the cursed prince of Elbaf. When Luffy (and readers) first meet him, he’s imprisoned in the Underworld for killing his father, King Harald.
However, Loki isn’t the villain everyone thought. In a flashback that started in Chapter 1153, it’s revealed that he was born from a loveless political marriage, and his mother hated him from birth because of his unique eye and cruelly threw him into the Underworld as an infant.
What happens after that is revealed in One Piece Chapter 1154. The new installment also unveils the history behind Loki’s fascination with the infamous Rocks D. Xebec.

One Piece Chapter 1154 major spoilers
Titled ‘Unable to Die’, One Piece Chapter 1154 continues with Loki’s flashback. The cover page features Yamato accompanying Ocho to the grave of a hero from West Blue, who was raised in Ringo.
The chapter follows the events of the previous one. After Prince Loki’s birth and his subsequent exile in the Underworld, the Big Mom incident happened, and after that, several misfortunes, like fires, storms, and famine, befell Elbaf.
As some desperate giants were about to attack Ida and Hajruddin, King Harald arrived just in time to save them. He also sought foreign assistance to help his faltering nation. However, Queen Estrida had already died from her illness before Halard returned. Eventually, Ida opened a bar in the Underworld.
56 years ago, Harald attended the Reverie at Mary Geoise. But the World Government ignored him at that time. When he returned to Elbaf, Jarul told him about a group of shipwrights, made of both ancient and non-ancient giants, and how they were possibly captured by the World Government.
While Harald was busy rebuilding Elbaf, Loki was raised by Estrida’s sister, who regularly abused the child. As a result, young Loki harbored deep resentment for everyone around him. 48 years ago, Loki unleashed a group of beasts on the villages. However, when he saw Hajruddin with other giant children, he realized how lonely he was.
One day, Rocks Pirates suddenly appeared in the Underworld and asked Loki if King Harald was around. It’s then revealed that Harald had met Rocks at the Reverie 8 years ago. But they hadn’t had much time to talk, as Rocks had killed a Marine Admiral and had become a wanted criminal.
The full face of Rocks D. Xebec is finally revealed in One Piece Chapter 1154. He had two-toned hair and looked very similar to Blackbeard. The chapter then reveals that Rocks is the father of Blackbeard, aka Marshall D. Teach.
