One Piece Chapter 1155 reveals more about Rocks D. Xebec, so here’s what you need to know.
As the danger of Imu looms over Elbaf and our heroes, the story takes us back to the past. The flashback reveals King Harald in his youth and how he turned into a benevolent king. But more importantly, it shows the birth of Loki and the start of his obsession with Xebec.
In Chapter 1154, Elbaf faced multiple disasters after Loki was born, starting with Linlin’s incident. Everyone, especially Queen Estrida, blamed the newborn for all these. Even after Harald returned from his trip and made the country prosperous, Loki continued to face hatred and isolation.
The chapter ended with the Rocks Pirates arriving at Elbaf, with Xebec looking for Harald. Why he was looking for the giant and what happened after that will be revealed in Chapter 1155.

Titled ‘Rocks Pirates’, One Piece Chapter 1155 focuses on the eponymous crew’s formation. This week’s chapter has a double spread, featuring the Straw Hats climbing ladders about the city’s roofs.
The chapter starts with Xebex’s encounter with Prince Loki. It’s revealed that Xebec is a unique swordsman, known for his swordsmanship, which blows surrounding objects away as if struck by a giant hammer or a cannonball. The man single-handedly kidnapped five kings during the Reverie.
Eight years ago, Xebec met Imu at the Reverie. Somehow, he’d made it all the way to the Room of Flowers. At that time, Gunko was serving Imu as the sole maid in the room. We still don’t know what Xebec and Imu talked about. But, at the end of their discussion, Xebec said he’d be back and that he loved Davy Jones.
Xebec also met King Harald at the Reverie. The two had a clash of Haki for some unknown reason. But the clash was so powerful that it cleared out all human consciousness within a five-kilometer radius, similar to Roger and Whitebeard’s confrontation. Since that day, Roger had admired Harald.
At some point, Xebec destroyed the Justice Gate and stole a ship full of the Celestial Dragon’s money. Eventually, he fought in the Davy Jones fights and expanded his crew, making it larger and more powerful.
He took six crew members to Elbaf. Other than the ones we see in Chapter 1154, he also took a pirate named Wang Zhi and a gangster named Marlon. A few years after he visited Elbaf, he took the Pirate Island – Hachinosu – under his control. The chapter ends here.
