One Piece Chapter 1165 finally unveils the long-anticipated battle between the Roger and Garp team and Rocks D. Xebec.
The truth of the God Valley Incident and the fall of Rocks is finally revealed in the Elbaf Arc. Starting as a twisted hunting game for the Celestial Dragons, it soon became a battlefield for two different pirate crews and the Marines.
Rocks tried to save his wife and son – the last remaining members of the Davy clan – and fought Imu alongside Whitebeard, Kaido, Big Mom, Roger, and Garp. However, they failed to take down the enemy, and Rocks was turned into a demon using Domi Reversi.
After the transformation, Rocks attempted to kill his family. Fortunately, they were saved by Kuma at the last moment. Fighting off the curse inside, Rocks begged Roger and Garp to kill him, thus beginning one of the most legendary fights in history. What happens after that is revealed in One Piece Chapter 1165.

Titled ‘Reverberation’, One Piece Chapter 1165 gives us a look at the fall of Rocks, and what happened to his crew after they left the God Valley island. The cover page shows Law and Bepo using Zeus as a pillow.
The chapter starts with Shiki declaring that this is the end of the Rocks Pirates. The crew members all go their different ways, including Ganzui, who’s revealed to be still alive. Back at the fight, Roger and Garp tell their crews that they’ll eventually return before they join forces to defeat Rocks.
Before Kaido and Big Mom go their separate ways, she tells him that he owes her for life. Whitebeard meets a fan called Polo Gram, who asks to join his crew. This Polo Gram is revealed to be Marco’s father.
Back on the island, Imu commands Rocks to destroy and erase everything in God Valley. The fight continues. Rocks’ Conqueror’s Haki is extremely powerful, so Roger and Garp decide to unleash their Haki in one powerful combined attack.
One Piece Chapter 1165 ends with Roger channeling his Conqueror’s Haki through his sword and Garp through his fists before directing their combined attack toward Rocks. They finally defeat Rocks, and the dark, evil energy of Domi Reversi slowly seeps out of his fallen body.
