One Piece Chapter 1173 reveals the true identity of one of the Holy Knights, so here’s what to know.

The flashback of the Elbaf Arc has ended, bringing the One Piece story back to the present. While Luffy and Loki are still in the Underworld, the rest of the team is trying to free the giant children from the Holy Knights’ clutches.

Elsewhere, Dorry and Brogy – controlled by Domi Reversi – are proceeding towards the Western Village to kill Chief Jarul. Knowing his end is near, the brave old man declares to the whole nation that King Harald was killed by the ‘demons’ of the World Government and that Loki is innocent.

Fortunately, before Dorry, Brogy, and the other mind-controlled giants can kill Jarul, Zoro hatches a plan to save the old warrior. What he intends to do is revealed in One Piece Chapter 1173.

One Piece Chapter 1173 major spoilers

Titled ‘Generation of Warriors’, One Piece Chapter 1173 picks up right where the last chapter left off. Just as the giants are about to kill Jarul, Zoro jumps onto their heads and slashes them away. Now, he only has Dorry and Brogy to face. But much to everyone’s surprise, they end up attacking each other instead of Zoro.

In another part of the country, Brook finally recognizes Gunko, thanks to her blue hair and two-toned eyes. He calls her Princess Shuri, the ‘father-killing princess’. It’s revealed that the man Gunko killed – possibly the king of the kingdom Brook was a warrior for – was an inspiration to the musician, similar to what Shanks is to Luffy.

Hearing her true name, Gunko returns to herself for a moment, and Brook almost reaches her. But Imu quickly regains control over her mind and body. However, it appears as though she’s still clinging to her mind as she shouts at Brook to run away before she attacks.

Elsewhere, Gerd and Goldberg have their hands full with the nightmare monsters. They plan a combo attack for the nightmare mother and are eventually joined by Road. The three of them launch a massive attack – ‘Three Generals: Roaring Nation’ – that resembles Dorry and Brogy’s special ‘Warrior Nation’ move.
