One Piece Chapter 1175 has Luffy and Loki finally joining the battle, so here’s what to expect.
A quick recap… after Sommers mistakenly destroyed the ship, the hostage children were bound to fall to their deaths. Despite trying their hardest, the parents were unable to stop the children. So, they sacrificed themselves and fell off the edge, hugging their children.
Fortunately, they were saved by Luffy and Loki, who’d left the Underworld. Chapter 1174 revealed Loki’s transformed form for the first time. Thanks to the legendary Devil Fruit, Loki took the form of a gigantic dragon, far bigger than Kaido.
With the Sun God finally appearing alongside a giant dragon, things are about to even out on the battlefield. Whether they manage to defeat the Holy Knights is revealed in One Piece Chapter 1175.

One Piece Chapter 1175 major spoilers
Titled ‘Nidhogg’, One Piece Chapter 1175 finally reveals the name and nature of Loki’s Devil Fruit. The chapter starts with Sanji using Diable Jamble to burn away the thorns around Robin. Zoro, on the other hand, cuts the thorns enveloping the hostage children. Overjoyed, Luffy praises, “As expected of you, Zoro! I believed in you!”
Luffy and Loki bring the children and parents safely to Jarul. In a flashback, Jarul reveals that the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf is the Mythican Zoan type Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Model: Nidhogg.
According to Jarul, whoever eats this Devil Fruit becomes the largest dragon in the world. However, the size of the dragon depends on the user’s own size. Thus, only an Ancient Giant can draw out this fruit to its full potential.
Jarul also reveals that once upon a time in Elbaf, there used to be a certain ‘God of War’ who possessed the Nidhogg Devil Fruit, wielded a weapon named Ragnir, and was always accompanied by their loyal confidant, the ‘Ice Squirrel Ratatoskr’. This God of War also clashed with the Sun God at some point.
Joining the battlefield, Luffy uses a new technique – Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Rifle – on Sommers. This move is the Gear 5 form of a Gear 4 technique Luffy used in Dressrosa. Thanks to this attack, Luffy’s fist connects with Sommers’ entire body and brutally electrocutes him.
Loki, too, has been busy. He singlehandedly destroys all the nightmare monsters with his lightning power. One Piece Chapter 1175 ends with Imu in Marygeoise. Imu is surprised to see Loki’s dragon form and says, “I see… Nidhogg… You were in Elbaf all along!!”
