On Saturday evening, there was a music event in London. The DJ's name was Four Tet. It was dance music mixing techno and house beats with acoustic sounds. I danced a lot.
On Sunday, there was a jazz event at a concert hall in London. First, a musician called Akiko Yano played the piano and sang. After that, a Japanese jazz band performed. It was an fun concert.
I occasionally go to concerts, but I don't go to clubs at all these days. It had been a while since I'd been to a dance event. Even though I was listening to cool music on the dark dance floor, thoughts about daily life kept popping into my head. Things like, I need to order the Christmas meat... or, when should I go back to Japan next year...? But after dancing for about five hours, the answers gradually became clear.
I managed to decide on a schedule for going to Japan and booked my flight. When you've got something to think about, it might be good to go dancing.
