YouTube star Outdoor Boys has revealed when he will post the three videos he recorded before announcing his retirement from content creation.

Back in May, Luke Nichols, better known online for his YouTube channel Outdoor Boys, announced that he would be stepping away from YouTube for the foreseeable future. His main reason? Becoming a little too famous.

“The sheer volume of fans trying to contact me, trying to take pictures with me, or just trying to come up to me and talk in public can be a bit overwhelming at times. My wife and I, we both have real concerns about what this will do to our family if I keep growing my YouTube channel at this pace,” he said in a post announcing his retirement.

“The time to stop is before this problem gets so out of hand that my family and I can live normal lives.”

Nichols did note that he had some videos in the backlog, however, and that they would see the light of day at some point.

Outdoor Boys final 3 YouTube videos coming soon

Well, with 2025 drawing to a close, the Outdoor Boys’ host has confirmed just when they’ll be uploaded to YouTube.

“In my last video, I told you that I had three videos that I’d been working on that were half finished, and if I finished them, I was going to post them at the end of the year. Well, here it is, it’s the end of the year!” he said.

The three videos will be posted on November 8, November 15, and November 22 at 7 am EST/12 pm GMT and 4 am EST.

“Does this mean I’m back and I’m posting videos again? No, just doing exactly what I told you I was going to do. Will I post any more videos after that? I don’t know, but I don’t regret my decision and I’m happy the way things are,” Nichols added.

Leaving the door ajar for a return to content will only encourage calls from fans to make a return, but at least they’ve got some “nice” videos to look forward to.
