Overwatch 2 Season 17 brings another brand-new Battle Pass, complete with a fresh set of skins and a D.Va Mythic.
The Season 17 update is set to be another huge content drop for Overwatch 2, coming with a GI Joe crossover, new maps, and the long-awaited map voting feature. As always, it also introduces a new Battle Pass packed with skins to unlock.
Following the Dokiwatch aesthetic of Season 16, the next theme is “Powered Up,” which brings 8-bit outfits for plenty of fan favorite characters.
Here’s everything you need to know about the OW2 Season 17 Battle Pass, including every skin and how much it costs.
All skins in Season 17 Battle Pass
There are eight skins included in the Season 17 Battle Pass, which you can check out below:
- 8-bit Reinhardt
- 8-bit Genji
- 8-bit Sombra
- Delinquent Cole Cassidy
- Professor Fawkes Junkrat
- Sakura Ana
- Principal Lacroix Widowmaker
- Professor de Kuiper Sigma
All of these skins can be unlocked by leveling up the Battle Pass, although you’ll need to purchase the Premium version to get every one. That being said, based on past seasons, there will be at least a couple of outfits that will be available for free.
Two new Mythics
As always, there are two Mythics to grind for this season — the Horang D.Va skin and Steel Death Reaper weapon skin.
The D.Va skin overhaul both her and her mech with a sleek white and blue design, with red and pink versions also available. Meanwhile, the Reaper weapon skin mixes up his signature shotguns to give them two distinct looks, one of which is grey and the other is white.
Both of these can be unlocked using Mythic Prisms, which can only be claimed through the Battle Pass. Once you have 50, head over to the Mythic Shop to get your hands on either one, with extra colors being an additional 10.
Battle Pass price
The Season 17 Battle Pass costs 1,000 OW Coins, which equates to $9.99 / £8.39. This unlocks the premium track, so you have access to every reward by simply playing matches, earning XP, and leveling it up.
Meanwhile, the upgraded version will set you back 2,200 OW Coins, which is $19.99 / £16.79. This comes with 20 free tier skips to give you a headstart, so this is ideal if you’re not sure if you’ll have time to reach tier 80 but want to get every skin.
If you don’t want to buy any of them, don’t worry, there are also a host of free rewards, but you’ll still need to progress through tiers containing premium prizes.
