Peacemaker features bonus scenes at the end of every episode, so here’s what happens post-credits in the superhero show.

Peacemaker Season 2 is now airing on HBO Max, though there’s also a sneaky watch the series for free.

You need to do your homework however, as while James Gunn claims it isn’t a multiverse story, the show nevertheless connects to an animated series, as well as two DC movies, and Season 1.

We’ve already seen the first five episodes, and wrote in our Peacemaker Season 2 review that it “tells a touching tale which lacks the potentially world-ending stakes of its predecessor, but makes up for that with an emotionally charged story that acts as the DCU’s answer to Sliding Doors.”

Every Peacemaker Season 2 post-credits scene explained

We’re going to detail what happens in each of the eight post-credits scenes when they drop, so SPOILERS ahead. Though the sequences in question are less concerned with story and more extended gags from earlier in the episodes, so those spoilers will be limited.

EPISODE 1 – Peacemaker vs 30 Seconds to Mars

Midway through Episode 1, Christopher Smith meets with Emilia Harcourt, and the pair trash-talk Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars. At the end of the episode, we see a longer version of this conversation.

“You can’t be looping Spin Doctors in with 30 Seconds to Mars,” says Harcourt. “Spin Doctors are so good.”

Chris Smith responds with “Anybody’s better than 30 Seconds to Mars. That garage band I was in for two seconds is better than 30 Seconds to Mars.”

Harsh but fair from Peacemaker, and a joke that probably confirms we won’t be seeing Jared Leto’s Joker in James Gunn’s DCU.

We’ll update this list as-and-when new episodes of Peacemaker arrive.
