Banners in Persona 5: The Phantom X let you unlock powerful characters and Personas to help you to strengthen your teams, so knowing which banners you can currently roll on is vital for maximizing your chances of getting the pull you want.

The current P5X banner rotation features a limited-time 5-star character that will instantly be a must-have for Persona 5 fans.

However, like most gacha games, Phantom X’s banners rotate frequently, so if you’re ready to spend your hard-earned Meta Jewels, Gold Tickets, and Platinum Tickets, here’s the latest details on the current character banners.

Limited character banner (Joker)

Joker (Ren Amamiya) is the current 5-star that appears on P5X’s limited character banner. His banner runs from June 26 to July 23, 2025, after which a new 5-star character will replace him.

The gacha rates on the limited Joker banner are as follows:

  • 5-star character: 0.8% drop chance
  • 4-star character: 6.2% drop chance
  • 2-star character: 93% drop chance
  • 80 pulls guarantee a 5-star character
  • 10 pulls guarantee a 4-star character

Joker currently has a 50% chance to be the first 5-star you pull, with a 5-star guaranteed at 80 pulls (Hard Pity). If you don’t get Joker on your first pulls, then he is guaranteed to be the next 5-star you get.

So, if you want to add Joker to your team, I recommend saving your Meta Jewels and using them to exchange for Platinum Tickets. Be sure to spend them all on this banner while it’s active.

P5X’s current limited banner features the following 5-star and 4-star characters:

5-star characters (Phantom Thieves)

  • Ryuji Sakamoto
  • Morgana
  • Ann Takamaki
  • Yaoling Li

Standard banner (Phantom Idol Contracts)

Just like in Girls’ Frontline 2 and Genshin Impact, P5X’s standard banner is permanent and will always remain in rotation.

It’s important to note that all characters, besides those featured in the limited banners, can be pulled here. The pull rates are as follows:

  • 5-star character: 0.8% drop chance
  • 4-star character: 6.2% drop chance
  • 2-star character: 93% drop chance
  • 80 pulls guarantee a 5-star character
  • 10 pulls guarantee a 4-star character

You’ll need to use Gold Tickets to pull characters on the standard banner, with the following 5-stars being available to unlock:

  • Morgana
  • Ryuji Sakamoto
  • Ann Takamaki
  • Yaoling Li
  • Haruna Nishimori

Additionally, after you have made 300 pulls, you’ll be able to select one of the above characters to unlock for free.

Beginner banner (Newcomer Contracts)

As the name suggests, the Newcomer Contracts banner is only available to new players. Every account gets 50 pulls on this banner, which will unlock a 5-star character of your choosing

However, after you have used up your 50 pulls, the Newcomer Contracts banner will no longer be available. You only need 8 Gold Tickets to draw 10 pulls, which makes it the cheapest way to earn your first 5-star.

The 5-star characters up for grabs on the Newcomer Contracts banner are as follows:

  • Mona (Morgana)
  • Panther (Ann Takamaki)
  • Skull (Ryuji Sakamoto)

The pull rates for the beginner banner are the same as the limited banner:

  • 5-star character: 0.8% drop chance
  • 4-star character: 6.2% drop chance
  • 2-star character: 93% drop chance

Every 2-star Persona you pull will also reward you with 30 Clear Cognigems

As always, we’ll update our P5X banner article once new characters are added, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back regularly.
