Pokemon fans will soon be able to run into a real-life Nurse Joy and watch their ’mons get healed in front of their eyes. Yes, you read that right.
PokePark Kanto is getting ready to open its doors, and thanks to some early access preview visits, footage from inside the park has already started making the rounds online.
From what we’ve seen so far, the park will feature an “immersive” forest area packed with over 600 ‘mons spread throughout the environment.
But one detail that really caught fans’ attention is the chance to visit an actual Pokemon Center and have your Pokemon healed by Nurse Joy herself.
First look inside PokePark Kanto’s Pokemon Center
One clip that’s recently uploaded online showcased a guest entering a Pokemon Center, who was immediately greeted with Nurse Joy, with a friendly-looking Chansey statue.
Just like in the games, it looks like visitors can get their Pokemon healed here, too. When you walk in, you’re greeted by Nurse Joy, with a friendly Chansey statue waiting behind the counter.
The clip gives a closer look at how the healing process works in real life. Nurse Joy places PokeBalls from a tray onto the machine, and each one shows a different Pokemon on the screen as it’s set down. To top it off, familiar sound effects and animation play in the background during the process.
Many fans were amused and jumped into the comments, and some of them just couldn’t help but be reminded of their experience in-game.
“Is there a giant ‘A’ button I can repeatedly smash while this is going on so I can relive my childhood?” wrote one user.
Based on the information of the park’s official site, this area is from Sledge Town, where visitors can also visit PokeMart to get “specialty drinks” as well as the Sedge Gym, among other locations and attractions.
The park itself will be open on February 5, 2026, and it is located within the Yomiuriland amusement park in Inagi City area of Tokyo.
