Pokemon is heading to the Super Bowl as the franchise prepares to celebrate one of the biggest milestones in its history.
The Pokemon Company International has confirmed it will mark 30 years of the brand with a yearlong campaign, beginning with a brand-new commercial airing during Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026.
The video is expected to highlight Pokemon’s global reach and the community that has powered the series across multiple generations.
More details about the wider anniversary rollout are still under wraps, but The Pokemon Company did release a teaser video featuring the sleep-inducing Pokemon, Jigglypuff.

According to the official press release, the commercial will illustrate the brand’s mission to bring people together through a shared love of Pokemon and honor its growing audience of diverse, global, and multigenerational fans across three decades.

“As we look to the next 30 years and beyond, we invite Trainers to join in celebrating this landmark milestone, starting with Super Bowl LX, where they’ll see themselves and their fandom reflected in unexpected ways.”
The company also confirmed that anniversary merchandise and additional offerings are launching alongside the campaign rollout, with further announcements expected once the Super Bowl spot officially premieres on February 8, 2026.
