Pokemon fans have joined the Shiny hunt in Legends Z-A using a strange method when grinding the rare variants.
Pokemon Legends Z-A is here, and players are wasting no time jumping into the Shiny hunt. However, unlike past games that require hours to get a single Shiny, the new adventure in Kalos is simple: Sit on benches.
The newest Shiny method only requires players to reset Pokemon in a specific area, which can be done by leaving it or sitting down on a bench. Once a Shiny spawns in, it is there to stay and won’t despawn with standard wild encounters.
This has encouraged players to get crazy when spawning in Shiny Pokemon in various Wild Zones.
Pokemon Players Are Watching Shinies Pile Up
In a post shared by a Pokemon fan on social media, the player can be seen running around a wild zone as they spawn the encounters in and out. The zone is filled with sparkling Shiny encounters waiting to be caught.
The spawns include Shiny Snover, Shiny Abomasnow, Shiny Machop, and several others. Fans in the comments are jumping in to share their own hauls, which include numerous Shiny Magikarp.
One players in the comments has called the new game an “AFK Shiny Printer”, as the video shown by the original poster shows the spawns from five hours of being away from his keyboard. AFK grinding appears to be the most common way to get these spawns currently, with players setting their games to run while they go about their day.
Other players are comparing the humorously easy hunt to past gens, specifically Sword and Shield, where trainers hunted for hundreds of hours for a single encounter. One player stated, “Man, I remember searching for a shiny wooloo for 3 months every night on sword and shield, nowadays they just give you shinies for fun.”
Shining hunting does seem to be getting easier as new games release, and sitting on a bench to spawn them in Pokemon Legends Z-A is about as straightforward as it can get.
