Pokemon-like game Elestrals Awakened has officially become the most funded video game project on Kickstarter in 2025, raising more than $1.3 million from over 9,000 backers.
Created by YouTuber and Twitch streamer aDrive back in 2022, the TCG version of the game was released to the public two years later. This new project brings the Elestrals universe into a digital format for the first time.
Elestrals Awakened is a 2.5D pixel-art RPG that features over 100 spirits inspired by Greek mythology. Players can capture, train, and battle these creatures as they explore a world rooted in elemental and mythic lore.
On November 4, the Elestrals X account revealed that the game was the “most funded” video game of 2025.
“Be part of history and the MOST FUNDED Video Game of 2025!” they said.
Backer rewards and stretch goals
According to the Kickstarter campaign, Elestrals Awakened is planned for release on Steam and Nintendo Switch, with a target launch window of December 2027. Reward tiers include digital game copies, closed beta access, physical merch, and collector’s edition items based on the Elestrals TCG.
The campaign has unlocked several stretch goals, adding more spirits, expanded story content, and upgraded animations and audio.
