The Pokemon Company has revealed its 2025 Holiday lineup, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most chaotic and festive collections yet, thanks to a Sudowoodo Christmas sweater that proudly turns the pretend tree ‘mon into the season’s most hideous Christmas tree.
Part of what makes the Holidays so special is that we all get the chance to wear some truly horrible Christmas sweaters, and The Pokemon Company is keen to take the crown.
The Sudosweater comes complete with pom-pom ornaments, garlands, and a bright star balanced on its head. It’s a bold look for the Rock-type, and one that finally leans into years of jokes about its questionable disguise as a tree.
Equal parts adorable and unsettling, it’s the kind of look that guarantees attention at any Christmas party. Whether you love it or hate it, Sudowoodo is finally living its best festive fantasy.
Sudowoodo sweater brings chaos to Christmas
Just in case you needed an extra reminder that this is peak Pokemon chaos, the sweater features bright reds and greens, along with a tiny Diglett poking out from the sleeve.
Priced at 7,480 yen (around $48 USD), the Sudowoodo sweater comes in both M and L sizes, so there’s no excuse for you not to rep this hideously beautiful knitwear.
The full “Pokemon Holiday Blessings” collection also includes plushies, scarves, and decorations featuring Pikachu, Eevee, Gardevoir, Sylveon, and even a Goomy snowman. Other highlights include some adorable Maushold mittens, a Turtwig snow globe, and a Pikachu stocking.
Pokemon’s Christmas lineup launches in Japan on October 25, with early access at the Pokemon Center Online store on October 23, and at the Pokemon Center Kagawa.
