This isn’t the first time the franchise has collaborated with the fast-food chain, but for fans looking to catch them all, it’s a promotion you won’t want to miss.
Pokemon TCG x McDonald’s 30th anniversary collab details
Based on a report from PokeBeach, the TCG promotion with McDonald’s is expected to run from February to March 2026.
This lines up with Pokemon Day on February 27, which is the same date Red and Green were first released. It will also be available in the USA.
The collaboration will be part of a Happy Meal promotion. So, the cards will likely be tied to a Happy Meal purchase.
As for which cards will be included, these promotions typically feature a small booster pack containing four cards.
One of those four cards is usually a holographic card that features a reflective foil effect, shining when tilted under the light.
Although details are still light, some fans are speculating and hoping that this promo will include the McDonald’s card of Pikachu with a burger.
This card was previously made available in Japan, and it was so popular that even McDonald’s had to apologize for ending the promo early due to “higher-than-expected sales.”
Not only that, but images of McDonald’s orders being thrown in the streets also surfaced online, mainly due to people only wanting the cards.
