Prime Big Deal Days 2025: The Best Amazon October Sales We've Found So Far (Updating Live)

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale is now live, and we're already seeing some of the best deals of the year on tons of items. Similar to Prime Day, this sale is exclusive to Prime members—with some notable exceptions to that rule.

This is the fourth year in a row that Amazon has held this October Prime Day event, and we here on the IGN Deals team have thoroughly covered every single one. Using all of that combined deal-hunting experience, we've gone ahead and picked out only the best discounts available right now.

Prime Big Deal Days is a two-day event, which means you only have 48 hours total to take advantage of these savings. Some of these discounts won't last throughout the entire sale window, especially if it's a Lightning Deal, so don't hesitate if you see something you like. Although many of these deals will likely return during Black Friday season, some prices are as good as it's going to get this year.

It's only day one of October Prime Day, but some of the most popular discounts from the sale right now are Apple products and Amazon devices. This is to be expected from any Amazon sale and prices on these items are similar to what we saw during the Prime Day back in July. Amazon has also brought back the popular "3 for 2" promotion on physical media, which actually doesn't require a Prime membership to take advantage of.

There's still a lot of time left in this sale, and we'll keep updating this top deals with new popular discounts as we find them.

We're currently hard at work finding you the best discounts in Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale. You can click any of the links below to jump to all of the top deals we've found in each category. We'll be actively updating prices and picks as the sale progresses.

Video Games

There isn’t an overwhelming amount of video game deals available for October Prime Day, but there are still some discounts worth noting. There is a nice variety of PS5 game deals, including the first big discount we’ve seen on Death Stranding 2.

There’s also the usual price cuts on Meta Quest 3 models that are probably about as good as we’ll see during Black Friday (unless you buy refurbished). Nintendo Switch deals are few and far between so far, but we expect that to change as more sales go live outside of Amazon.

In terms of gaming accessories, the discounts are pretty light so far. We’ve included slight price cut on the Xbox controller, which is really only notable because Xbox keeps raising all of its prices this year.

Apple Products

Like any good Amazon sale, Prime Big Deal Days has Apple deals available. This year's offerings aren't too much of a surprise, but any discounts on expensive Apple tech are worth noting. Perhaps the most notable discount here is the $60 off the AirPods 4 with ANC, which is as good a deal as we saw during July's Prime Day earlier this year. The iPad deals here are also matching their lowest price of the year, which is still a good deal overall. We're also seeing some decent Apple Watch Series 10 deals now that the Series 11 is available.

Outside of the usual Apple device deals, there's also a really good deal on a 4-pack of AirTags. It's close to the lowest price we've ever seen on these devices and it's worth picking up a pack if you need them now. There aren't any iPhone deals included in the October Prime Day sale, but there are still some iPhone 17 launch promos going on outside of Amazon.

4K UHD and Blu-rays Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free

For anyone hoping to add to their movie collection ahead of Black Friday, Amazon's massive "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sale on 4K Blu-rays is exactly what you're looking for. This promotion isn't limited to just Prime members, so you are free to shop without dishing out for a membership. What's included in this sale will likely change over the course of the next few days, but for now it's filled with a nice mix of modern classics (like Kill Bill) and newer movies (like Deadpool & Wolvernie).

It's worth noting that some of the options available in this sale are also discounted on their own. The Fallout Season 1 deal, for example, has dropped in price and is included here.

TVs

There's never really a wrong time to shop for a new TV these days as it seems that you can find deals pretty much any time of the year. With that in mind, we've focused primarily on discounts on only the latest high-end TVs like the LG C5 and the Samsung S84F 4K OLED TV. If you don't mind spending more than $1,000 on an upgrade, these prices are worth a look.

Outside of the TVs themselves, there are also discounts on streaming devices currently available. The Google TV Streamer 4K has dropped back to the same price we saw during Prime Day this year, and it was very popular back then.

Gaming Monitors

Black Friday is overall the best time to buy a gaming monitor, but there are some options available right now if you don't want to wait that long to upgrade your screen. Most notably, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 has dropped to its lowest price ever here. This is one of our favorite OLED monitors available right now and it offers a super ultrawide gaming experience. If you have the budget for it (and the desk space), it's definitely worth considering at this price. There are also a couple more discounts from the Samsung Odyssey line that have gotten some good discounts

If you're looking for something more affordable but still good, we recommend checking out the price drop on the LG Ultragear monitor above.

Gaming Laptops and PCs

Although Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale isn't known for incredible deals on gaming laptops and PCs, we have managed to find some pretty discounts within the sale. In terms of laptops, the most notable brands here are Alienware and MSI, but those offerings are still going to be on the higher end of most people's budgets. Gigabyte has some cheaper options available if you don't mind sacrificing storage space.

For gaming PC deals, the best discounts are from CyberPower and iBuypower. The iBuypower options are a bit more expensive thanks to the 5070 GPUs inside. If you are looking for more well-known brand, we'd suggest checking out Dell's Alienware sale going on right now. Some of the best October Prime ay gaming PC deals are direct from Dell this year.

SSDs

If you're hunting for deals on PS5-compatible SSDs, we've found all of the best ones available right now. Our top pick from Amazon's sale is the Crucial P310 2TB SSD. It's actually been on sale since before October, but it's still one of the best deals availalable right now. You can also double your storage with the 4TB model for only $90 more.

LEGO Sets

Amazon is one of the best places to buy LEGO sets at a discount and October Prime Day is one of the best times of the year to do so. Many popular builds are already getting some big price cuts early in the sale, with even fan favorites like the LEGO Piranha plant from Super Mario dropping to its lowest price. Most of the deals here, like the LEGO Star Wars options, are 30% off—which is more than we usually see.

Board Games

There are a bunch of great board game deals going on at Amazon right now. We've found discounts on popular strategy games like Azul as well as cooperative options like Pandemic. There's a little something for everyone in this sale. You can even pick up Arkham Horror at a discount if you need something spooky to play in October.

For fans of Lord of the Rings and two-player games, it's also worthing calling out Dual for Middle Earth. It's a fantastic tabletop dual game you can choose to play with one other person: Be it your significant other or sworn enemy. It's rarely gone on sale, so this discount absolutely makes it worth picking up.

Books Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free

Similar to the 4K movie sale, Amazon has also brought back its "3 for 2" sale on books for October Prime Day. The sale most notably includes popular new releases like Dan Brown's The Secret of Secrets, Suzanne Collin's Sunrise on the Reaping, and Alchemised.

Also included are popular box sets of the Lord of the Rings books and A Court of Thorns and Roses. There's more deals than we can feature on one page, so we recommend just checking out the full sale yourself. We'll update this list with new books as Amazon shifts around it's inclusions throughout the sale.

Prime Big Deal Days vs. Black Friday Deals

Although Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days has a lot of good deals, we still expect Black Friday to have more discounts on just about everything in 2025. With that in mind, more discounts on everything doesn't necessarily mean better discounts. There are plenty of price cuts in the October Prime Day sale that may actually be more expensive next month. The rising costs in the U.S. could potentially have an impact on what deals are available between now and Black Friday, but it's difficult to know just how big that impact will be.

If you're wondering if it's worth shopping now or waiting until Black Friday to buy, it really just depends on what it is you're looking for. Some items, like major appliances, won't get big price drops until November. But if you're looking for a cool LEGO set or a decent TV, now is a great time to grab one at a discount. Black Friday is still over a month away, but these deals are available right now. If something you want is on sale at a great price, just buy it—there's no guarantee of a better discount later.

We here at IGN have an entire team dedicated to browsing and writing about deals throughout the year. With all this time spent browsing the web for discounts (and shopping for ourselves), we've gotten pretty good at spotting the good deals from the bad or mediocre ones. We decide what discounts we recommend to our audiences based on a couple different factors. The first main thing we keep in mind is price, of course. Online retailers like Amazon will often raise prices on items right before they discount them for events like October Prime Day and we keep track of those changes. We do this by tracking historical prices for any of the categories we regularly cover, either manually or with a price tracker called CamelCamelCamel. This helps us avoid promoting deals that are actually just regularly-priced items in disguise. We also have a team familiar with both key product releases and past sale coverage in gaming, tech and collectibles, so we're able to know if something is priced decently year-to-year even at a glance.
