Viral rapper Skrilla has claimed that his song, Doot Doot (6 7), is going to be used in GTA 6 as it has become a bit of a meme online.

The soundtracks for Grand Theft Auto games are something that pretty much every GTA fan looks forward to. The likes of Vice City, San Andreas, GTA 4, and GTA 5 have produced some iconic radio stations with big tracks.

With the countdown to GTA 6 still ongoing, fans have been trying to figure out who might appear in the new game. So far, Rockstar has used six songs in the two trailers, but there have been other rumors.

The likes of Drake and DJ Khaled have been rumored to have their own radio stations in-game. Yet, viral rapper Skrilla has now claimed he’ll play a role.

Skrilla claims he’s in GTA 6 with meme song

The rapper, who has been going viral on social media with his song Doot Doot (6 7), leading to the ‘6 7’ meme, spoke about the new game on Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast.

“I’m waiting for GTA 6 to come out… 6 7 is on there, too,” he told the podcast hosts. Shane Gillis immediately asked about GTA 6’s location, asking if the game is in Florida – which Skrilla had constantly referenced throughout the podcast.

Skrilla quickly nodded, adding: “Yeah, 6 7 is on there. I’m going to be my own person on there, playing my own music.”

The wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 has been pretty excruciating for the most fanatical GTA fans. They’re desperate to get their hands on a new game after more than 12 years playing Grand Theft Auto 5.

However, the wait for GTA 6 is going to run on until at least May 26, 2026. Rockstar scrapped their plans for a holiday 2025 release, citing that they need more time to work on it.
