Roblox’s Grow a Garden has seen unprecedented popularity, so much so that even Fortnite players have replicated it in the popular battle royale.
When Grow a Garden landed in Roblox, it shattered player count records, coming in at over 11 million concurrent players, which is roughly eight million more than one of Steam’s most played games ever, PUBG.
If you thought that was it, then you’d be wrong. It then ended up breaking world records for player count in June 2025, reaching an impressive 16 million players at once. The previous holder of that record? Fortnite, which once had 14 million concurrent players. And now it seems they’re coming for the crown, after making a clone of Grow a Garden.
Fans create Grow a Garden in Fortnite
Thanks to Fortnite Creative, fans are able to make games inside the popular battle royale, spurring on pretty much any genre, style, or adventure you can think of.
If you were thinking of growing your perfect garden without playing Grow a Garden in Roblox, then Fortnite has what you need in the form of Go Garden.
This Grow a Garden clone has you doing exactly what you would expect. Plant crops, sell those grown crops for money, and expand your garden while buying rare plants, as is the case with Grow a Garden. On top of that, like its inspiration, there are mutations, events, and it’s all based on a few clicks and idle waiting.
This clone is absolutely uncanny, and it’s already bringing in a pretty impressive player count, coming in at 8k at the time of writing.
Of course, that’s not holding much to the current player count of over 2.5 million in Grow a Garden, but it’s still ideal if you want to play the game without accepting that you want to play a Roblox game.
