Rockstar Games insider TezFun has shut down a rumor about Grand Theft Auto 6’s third trailer, as fans believe they know when it’s coming.
When Rockstar Games announced that GTA 6 would need to be delayed, the hearts of Grand Theft Auto fans across the world were left shattered. However, the GTA devs went some way to repairing them by dropping the long-awaited second trailer shortly after.
At this point, fans have gotten everything they can out of the trailer and 100 new screenshots, leaving them waiting for the third GTA 6 trailer and the start of the pre-order period.
On October 17, an X account – xxAboodexxx5 – claimed that noted Rockstar insider TezFun had said that a third trailer would be dropping on December 2. However, TezFun quickly shut that down with a strong “nope” response.
GTA 6 fans looking to November 8 for next trailer
Despite that, Grand Theft Auto fans have got a new date to latch onto – November 8. This date is not only the anniversary of when Rockstar confirmed the first GTA 6 trailer would be released, but also appears to be hinted at in the trailer.
There is a moment where Jason has his hand in a cash register and his watch displays the time as 11:08. It’s a very clear thing to see, which has left Grand Theft Auto fans believing that it was done on purpose.
“Don’t you dare give me hope,” one said. “Always remember that they drop trailers whenever the f*ck they want,” another added. “I can’t wait for the angry posts when R* releases nothing on that day,” another commented.
There have been suggestions that Rockstar may well delay GTA 6’s release again, moving it from May 26, 2026, to October 2026. Obviously, that hasn’t been confirmed.
