Schedule 1 is about to get a whole lot bigger, after Tyler, the solo developer behind its creation, has revealed he’s turned TVGS into an official studio, promising plenty more to come for the popular game.

Schedule 1 was one of those games that absolutely took off from nowhere. Almost overnight, we saw hundreds of thousands of players diving into play as a drug dealer and making tons of money through their chosen strains and preferred product. However, it was only made by one person, Tyler, who has been working through updates as quickly as possible to keep the playerbase coming back for more.

Well, that’s about to get a lot easier and those updates are about to come a lot quicker after Tyler announced that TVGS (the name he went by when developing) has been made into a full game studio, meaning patches are coming soon, and more employees will be working on the future of the game.

Schedule 1 reveals early 2026 plans

Sharing the news on Steam, Tyler explained that “TVGS is now an actual game studio! We’ve got an office in Sydney, and a new developer, Rob, who has just started. We’re also in the process of recruiting a 3D/technical artist. By the end of the year, there will likely be 4 people working on Schedule I.”

What this means is that Schedule 1 is far from over, and it’s likely we’ll end up seeing similar games from the company in the future.

However, for Schedule 1, he also explained that “We’re going to release a patch next week focused on bug fixing and QoL improvements,” so fans can expect a few changes very soon.

Following that, they’ve revealed that they’re intending to “leave the game in a strong position for future development,” which is “also a vital step towards proper mod support,” potentially hinting we’ll get official mod support very soon.

Finally, Tyler revealed that they’ll begin working on the next update after that’s finished, which he is “estimating will be done in late February,” but doesn’t want to confirm anything until they’re confident of a release date.
