Sega and Seiko have revealed two new collaboration watches in Japan to mark the video game company’s 65th anniversary. Sega was founded in 1960, and the limited-run timepieces are being released to mark that milestone.

Founded in 1960, Sega is a major Japanese game publisher behind long-running series such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Yakuza. After exiting the console hardware market in the early 2000s, the company shifted to third-party publishing and has since expanded its catalog across global platforms and media tie-ins.

The Sega 65th Anniversary Seiko Collaboration Model comes in two variants, Black and Silver, with both designs featuring Sega-themed styling and branding across the dial and case. The watches were unveiled ahead of an early October 2026 release date, with pre-orders now live through Japanese retailer Kadokawa.

The Black model features a black dial paired with a blue tachymeter ring, along with a black ion plated case and strap. The Silver version includes a white face, black tachymeter ring, and a stainless steel case and bracelet finished in silver.

Both watches use Arabic numerals styled in Sega’s font, while the Seiko and Sega logos appear together at the 3 o’clock position on each dial.

Inside, the two variants are powered by Seiko’s 7T92 caliber movement, featuring three analog hands and a basic date display. Three inset subdials handle the stopwatch function, with the 6 o’clock subdial including the outline of Sonic the Hedgehog.

According to the company, the watches are water-resistant to 10 bar and have a monthly accuracy of plus or minus 15 seconds. The metal case measures 47.2 x 39.2 x 11.25 mm, or roughly 1.86 x 1.54 x 0.44 inches.

Each unit also includes an engraved serial number on the case back, placed beneath a Sega 65th anniversary logo.
