The studio behind The Simpsons Hit & Run has relaunched with a new website and a rebrand as New Radical Entertainment.

The studio announced the relaunch in a blog post introducing the new site, describing it as a fresh start while drawing on the studio’s legacy.

Radical Entertainment is best known for working on licensed titles, including tie-ins to The Simpsons, Incredible Hulk, Scarface, and Crash Bandicoot.

Hit & Run has remained one of the most requested games for a modern rerelease or remaster among fans, which New Radical says it just so happens to specialize in.

Announcing the relaunch, the studio said the new website is intended to reflect its renewed focus and creative direction.

“We are excited to unveil the New Radical website, a digital hub designed to reignite the spirit of creativity and inspiration that has always driven our mission. This platform serves not just as a website, but as a nostalgic journey back to the roots of innovation and collaboration. We invite you to embark on this adventure with us.”

While the studio has not announced any new projects or confirmed remakes or remasters of its past games, it says it is actively seeking work and is available to take on development projects.

“Our highly skilled team is available immediately to take on full game, metaverse, or realtime VFX projects. We also provide smaller strike teams to help with optimization, liveops, design tuning services and more.”

The studio also highlighted remastering as one of its main areas of expertise, raising the possibility of future work on classic titles.

“We specialize in remastering classic games by enhancing visuals, audio, and gameplay to revive beloved titles for modern hardware, appealing to both new players and long-time.”
