The Single’s Inferno Season 5 finale has just landed on Netflix, so we’ll likely have to wait a while to find out if any couples made it in the real world. In the meantime, speculation is ramping up about Park Hee-sun and Lim Su-been after an Instagram video surfaced online.
Single’s Inferno doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to fostering lasting relationships, one of the key issues being that there’s just not a lot of time – the cast only have around eight to 10 days to get to know each other.
Even so, they still make an effort to find their best match, with the Season 5 cast going on plenty of Paradise dates throughout the process. All of this built up to today’s (February 10) finale, where five couples were formed during the final decision.
Unlike some reality dating shows, Single’s Inferno cast members tend to keep their personal lives fairly low-key once filming ends, rarely confirming relationship statuses or sharing details online. This discretion often leaves fans reading between the lines…
Single’s Inferno Season 5 fans react to Park Hee-sun & Lim Su-been video
At the very least, Park Hee-sun and Lim Su-been have stayed in touch, as a new Instagram video shows the pair watching the finale together. They’re seen reacting to the moment Song Seung-il told Hee-sun that Su-been and Kim Min-ji shared a bed while in Paradise.
If you’ve watched the finale, you’ll know that Su-been later apologized and explained that it was innocent. It was already water under the bridge, with Hee-sun and Su-been choosing each other as their final couple in Single’s Inferno Season 5.
The Instagram video only cements that fact, with the pair both laughing together while watching the scene play out. According to one Redditor, the clip was shared by one of Su-been’s friends on Instagram.
“This is kinda unexpected because I didn’t have faith in them lol but they look close though,” they wrote. It’s worth noting that this doesn’t confirm that Su-been and Hee-sun are dating, but it’s still left fans excited.
“Wow, so happy to see them hanging together,” wrote one, while another said, “Wow, the ship actually sailed.” A third commented, “Omg this is insane.” And a fourth chimed in, “This healed my heart omg.”
“I was kinda sad because Hee-sun didn’t seem very happy in the finale and Su-been seemed a bit off too, but now I feel good,” they added. “Even if they don’t date irl, I am just happy to see them together. They both were very mature and deserve the best for themselves.”
Over on X, one fan asked what they’re saying to each other in the video, to which another replied, “Hee-sun’s basically saying to Su-been why didn’t he realize Min-ji and Seung-il were talking about the fact that him and Min-ji slept in the bed together.”
The clip has been shared in multiple posts on the Single’s Inferno subreddits, with one writing, “So apparently they are still in contact!”
They went on to say that they weren’t happy with how the tension between Hee-sun and Su-been was dragged out in the Netflix show until the final moments, but are pleased after seeing the clip.
“I feel like he genuinely likes Hee-sun… They have their lives ahead of themselves, wishing them the absolute best.” Another said, “I want a k-drama with these two in the lead roles. Maybe Mina Sue can have a cameo too lmao.”
