A woman in British Columbia went viral after her sleepwalking habit led to an unusual late-night DoorDash order: one lone packet of honey mustard sauce.
Miranda Knowles, from Nanaimo, woke up to a mysterious $8 DoorDash charge and zero recollection of ordering anything.
With no food in sight and only an email confirmation photo to go off, she scoured her home for clues until she spotted a single sauce packet lying at her doorstep.
“I was so confused because I didn’t see any bag in the picture,” Miranda told Newsweek. “So I ran down the stairs and was baffled to see the little sauce.”
Sleepwalker stunned by her absurd 1AM DoorDash order
It wasn’t until she reviewed her Ring doorbell footage that the full picture came together. While sleepwalking, Miranda had placed a DoorDash order for just one sachet of A&W honey mustard, which was hand-delivered by a driver in the middle of the night.
“I do like A&W honey mustard, but I’m not sure why I would order it alone,” she joked.
Knowles shared the hilarious ring cam footage on TikTok, and the clip quickly exploded, racking up over 4 million views. She even offered a public apology to the unsuspecting Dasher who fulfilled the bizarre $8 delivery.
This isn’t the first time Miranda’s sleepwalking has caused chaos. “Lately I’ve been DoorDashing random items,” she said. “Just regular things, onion rings, a single bottle of Coke, even though I don’t drink Coke.”
Beyond food orders, her nighttime adventures have included taking a bath, reorganizing holiday decorations, and even cleaning the entire house. “I’ve crafted items, prepared food, done laundry… I can get a lot done while asleep,” she laughed.
