It’s been a while since I’ve played in my winter/Christmas town of SnowBelle so I decided to spend about a few hours of my time playing in SnowBelle as a “mini break” from working on Serenity.
Bianca moved in sometime whilst I was taking a break from SnowBelle to work on Serenity, she was an autofill and I’m pretty happy about her moving in because she’s perfect for the aesthetic of “wintercore” as she looks like a snow leopard. 🙂
Rolf also lives in SnowBelle, it’s in my official headcanon that the two of them are dating now. They’re both super cute together! 😛
There was also a villager inside the campsite in SnowBelle today! I love how the campsite turns into an igloo during the winter season. 🙂
Inside the igloo was Iggly a jock penguin which is rather fitting of a penguin villager to be inside an igloo. 😀 I don’t think SnowBelle has any jock villagers at the moment so having one be a penguin in SnowBelle was actually perfect. I decided to try and get Iggly to move into SnowBelle. He decided to play rock, paper, scissors with me and…
Yeah… That didn’t go well. xP I was thinking of a real life strategy to rock, paper, scissors as we both picked rock at the start as a tie, was thinking that he was gonna pick paper as most people usually chose rock so I went with scissors but he stuck with rock. Welp, good job I didn’t want my warbloid gyroid. 😛
After playing charades and winning Iggly was officially moving to SnowBelle so it’ll be great to have a new jock villager officially live here soon. 🙂 Personality wise, I love cranky villagers the most but I’ve been warming up to jock villagers recently, their dialogue is kinda hilarious sometimes but I love the term “ladybro” so much, lol.
It makes me really happy that Iggly’s dialogue here is based on SnowBelle and the season of winter, I know it’s based on the current season but still. 😛
A Fresh New Town Tune & Flag
I finally got around to doing a new town tune for SnowBelle, I decided to go with the standard “Jingle Bells” Christmas carol. 🙂
In addition to SnowBelle getting a fresh new town tune, I designed the first version of my town flag which is meant to be a snowflake. I’m not 100% happy with how it looks so far but for version 1 it’ll do for now. 😛
I’ll make sure to upload this to my AC:NL QR codes page once I get round to creating a QR code of this version. 🙂
Angel’s House Renovation
I’ve been super into house renovations since I worked on the two castles in Serenity and feeling pretty proud of their outcomes so I decided to work on Mayor Angel’s winter cottage interior. Just a heads up, her house is still not finished but I wanted to share the progress of getting her house decorated. Her house is quite similar to Mayor Fern’s cabin in Chestnut but Angel’s interior is more festive. Here’s what the main room looked like, quite messy as I was beginning work on it but had left it to go and work on something else.
I originally thought that the refurbished alpine series might fit in well with her living room space but I ended up not liking it. It did technically match up with the rest of the room but I just didn’t really like the finished result with it being refurbished, which is a pity.
I ended up using the cabin series again for her living room and liking it a lot better compared to the alpine series. I decided to refurbish the gift pile into the toy day version for the Christmas tree inside of her living room. 🙂 It looks a lot better once it was finished compared to the original one.
And that’s her living room space finished! I’m somewhat pleased with how it turned out, I feel like it’s quite similar to Fern’s cozy cabin in Chestnut but both the season of winter and autumn/fall are quite cozy months so I guess it makes sense that both of their living spaces would be similar to each others. 🙂
I plan on making her right room a cozy kitchen, I can see Angel doing some baking for her guests. I like to think that the freshly baked bread on the dining table is what she baked last night. 🙂
I’m not sure what I’ll put in the left room, I’m also thinking of adding a back room too but I’m not sure what to add in there either. Perhaps a guest bedroom?
