Spotify is rolling out a new feature that gives users a snapshot of their music habits every week. The tool, called Listening Stats, is available to Free and Premium users in over 60 markets and highlights top artists, most-played songs, and personalized insights from the past four weeks.
The weekly recap also includes playlists based on your recent activity and a rotating highlight that might spotlight a milestone, a new discovery, or a standout fan moment. Users can share their stats directly from the app to platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp.
Spotify says this feature is designed to help listeners explore and revisit their unique tastes throughout the year. For a full annual rundown, the platform’s Wrapped experience remains the go-to recap.
How to view your weekly listening stats
- Tap your profile image to open the main menu
- Select the “Listening Stats” tab
- Browse your top artists, songs, and weekly insights
- Tap Share to post your stats or individual highlights
The update puts Spotify’s weekly data front and center in the app for the first time. Traditionally, users had to rely on third-party tools or wait for the annual Wrapped rollout to see a breakdown of their listening behavior. Now, the company is positioning Listening Stats as a way to stay connected to your habits in real time, similar to features like Daylist and Release Radar.
Spotify is also using this launch to push further into music personalization and shareability, reinforcing the platform’s focus on social features and discovery tools heading into 2026.
