Squid Game cracks 2025 streaming chart, while Bluey dominates

Squid Game has made it into the streaming Top 10 of 2025 so far, but the might of Netflix has been no match for the dominance of Bluey on Disney+.

Nielsen has released its 2025 viewing figures for streaming, and acquired shows like Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, and Family Guy continue to post huge numbers.

Bluey sits at the top of the tree, as it usually does, with the animated kid’s show wracking up over 25 million minutes viewed.

Squid Game is the only original show to make the Top 10, pulling in more than 15 billion minutes viewed, in spite of the fact that Season 2 dropped days prior to the six month period concerned, and Season 3 arrived just before the end.

Bob’s Burgers (286 episodes) – 17.105 billion

Biggest ‘Originals’ of the year, including Squid Game and Reacher

The above list combines acquired and original shows, while the following are just the originals, which have far fewer episodes, making it tougher to build up those views.

Netflix dominates, taking three of the top four slots via Squid Game, The Night Agent, and Ginny and Georgia, while Prime Video title Reacher comes in at number two.
