Starbucks is teaming up with YouTube icon MrBeast to introduce a brand-new beverage inspired by the second season of the influencer’s Amazon Prime show, Beast Games.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson is gearing up to release the second season of Beast Games. This time, he’s picked 100 of the ‘strongest’ and 100 of the ‘smartest’ contestants he could find, who’ll go head-to-head in a series of over-the-top challenges to win a jaw-dropping $10M grand prize.

MrBeast has already shown off the massive city he built for participants to live in, which includes a special Starbucks cafe that’s open 24/7 to keep them caffeinated for the games. The coffee company also provided special prizes to reward their efforts in the competition.

However, Beast Games contestants aren’t the only ones benefiting from Starbucks’ partnership with the YouTube star; to celebrate their collaboration, the chain is releasing a new Refresher called the ‘Cannon Ball Drink’ in locations across the United States.

Starbucks creates new Refresher in partnership with Beast Games

Starbucks describes this bev as a “bold, tart lemonade with Strawberry Açaí and Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers, topped with cascading fruit inclusions and served ice cold.”

The ‘cannonball’ element comes from baristas ‘cannonballing’ fruit into the top of the drink, then giving it a swirl to create a purple ombré hue.

This colorful beverage was inspired by Beast Games and even created on the Season 2 set, and will be featured in Episode 4 for the ‘Cannon Ball Challenge’ game. 

“The Beast Games competitors pushed themselves to the limit on a daily basis, so we were excited that Starbucks was up for the challenge of powering the competition and helping our contestants recharge in Beast City,” Beast Industries’ Senior VP of Global Media and partnerships said. 

“We can’t wait for fans everywhere to taste a little bit of the action with the new Cannon Ball Drink.”

That isn’t the end of Starbucks’ surprising partnership with MrBeast, by far; Starbucks also got together with the YouTuber for a video called ’30 Days in the Sky,’ which will premier on his channel on December 20.
