League of Legends esports team T1 has continued its World Championship winning streak, defeating opponent KT Rolster 3-2 in the 2025 World Championship final to capture a record-extending sixth world title.

The best-of-five series took place in Chengdu, China, on November 9. Following the win, T1 has become the first team to win three consecutive World Championships, adding 2025 to its back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024.

Faker leads T1 to another crown

Veteran mid-laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok once again helped lead his team to victory alongside a roster featuring Zeus, Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria through a five-game series that swung back and forth before T1 closed it out.

The victory cements Faker’s legacy even further as the most decorated player in competitive League of Legends. The 2025 win means he now holds six Worlds titles to his name, more than any other professional player.

T1’s opponents, KT Rolster, returned to the Worlds stage for the first time since 2018, pushing T1 to a final 3-2 scorecard.

T1 is the first team to achieve a so-called “threepeat” in competitive League of Legends, having won the tournament in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
