Taco Bell is adding a new sweet chipotle BBQ sauce to its lineup and pairing it with a range of crispy chicken menu items.
The new sauce blends sweet and smoky flavors and is featured in three items: the crispy Chicken Taco, the crispy chicken burrito, and the sweet chipotle BBQ sauce-topped fries. Fans can also add it to any favorite item or order it on the side.
The crispy chicken taco includes one crispy chicken strip topped with purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar, spicy ranch, and the sweet chipotle BBQ sauce for $2.79.
The crispy chicken burrito uses two strips and the same toppings, wrapped in a flour tortilla. Both options allow guests to swap the spicy ranch for a milder avocado ranch.
Taco Bell’s BBQ Sauce gets its own special fries
The sweet chipotle BBQ sauce-topped fries are a twist on Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries, layered with slow-roasted chicken, nacho cheese, spicy ranch, shredded cheddar, jalapenos, and the new chipotle sauce.
The new sauce is also available to add to any menu item or as a side in a cup, and it can be paired with crispy chicken strips, nacho fries, or other Taco Bell staples.
