IGN can exclusively reveal the new trailer for Season 2 of the Paramount+ animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which can be viewed via the player above or the embed below.
The official plot synopsis says that Season 2 follows “Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello as they face fresh threats and new allies in a city that’s more alive – and mutating – than ever.” Tales of the TMNT returns this December, exclusively on Paramount+.
The new trailer heralds the launch of World of TMNT, an online hub that unites the entire TMNT universe – over 40 years of films, series, games, comics and merchandise – under one shell.

World on TMNT features the original Eastman & Laird comics, the Fred Wolf TV Series, the 1990s live-action films, the 2003 series, the 2012 series, the live-action Michael Bay films, Rise of the TMNT, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, Tales of the TMNT, The Last Ronin comic miniseries, and the TMNT IDW Comics Collection.
There’s also the launch of Iconic Origins: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a new limited-series documentary podcast chronicling the heroes in a half shell. The eight-episode series – hosted by Ben of the Week (Benjamin De Almeida) – features exclusive interviews with TMNT creators, artists, and voice talent. Iconic Origins premieres October 2025 on major podcast platforms.
World of TMNT will have a major presence at this week’s New York Comic Con, including a Turtle Van photo op (Javits Crystal Palace, space #CP101) where fans will also get an exclusive sneak peek at the all-new TMNT short film TMNT Chrome Alone 2: Lost In New Jersey that will play in theaters with the release of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: The Search for SquarePants. The Turtle Van photo opp is located at the Javits Crystal Palace, space #CP101.
Fans can alsco expect exclusive action figure reveals at the TMNT storefront at NYCC, including the Knock Off Knock Out 2-Pack, featuring the new “holiday streetwear” Turtles paired with Tubular Tortoise Karate Warrior knockoffs from the upcoming theatrical short.
Other TMNT opps at NYCC includes panels for IDW’s TMNT comics (Friday, Oct. 10, 5:15 p.m., Javits Center, Room 1C03) and an exclusive sneak peek at the new TMNT: Empire City experience (Friday, Oct. 10, 12:45 p.m., Javits Center, Room 408).
