The BMW M 1000 RR model is the highest-scale LEGO Technic motorbike built so far at 1:5. It measures 18" long, 7" wide, and 11" tall and is comprised of 1,920 bricks. Like most Technic vehicle sets, this is a relatively challenging build geared towards tinkerers ages 18 and up. A lot of small touches are added to make this an enjoyable build. For example, one neat feature is that the instructions follow the same order of the actual assembly line process. Notable highlights include a 3-speed (+ neutral) gearbox, working steering, front and rear suspension, chain transmission, and 4-piston engine. The bike is decked out in BMW's iconic red, white, and blue color scheme with plenty of livery to give it an authentic feel (and yes, there are sticker sheets). When you're finished, a stable display stand is included which is a much better solution than the wobbly kickstand used in cheaper LEGO motorcycle sets.
