Like I mentioned above, this is the lowest price we've ever seen on Amazon for this set. It had been hovering around $20 just before October and has a usual list price of $37.79. With the current discount, I don't think you'll see a lower price on this set than this one any time soon. It has been confirmed that LEGO will be releasing Pokémon sets sometime next year, so right now seems like a great time to grab a discount before these Mega sets become harder to find.

The set itself is made up of 322 pieces and includes five lenticular cards depicting the original gen 1 starters in brick form. It also includes an actual light that will turn on when you click it. The build looks pretty simple overall, but as a display piece it seems to work. It certainly isn't as impressive as the LEGO Game Boy, but at $10 it really doesn't have to be. Some of my favorite memories from when I was a '90s kid involve playing Pokémon on my Game Boy while watching the anime and this deal is really making me wonder if I need a Pokédex on my shelf.

LEGO Pokémon Sets Are Coming in 2026

There aren't currently any LEGO Pokémon sets, but there will be soon. LEGO officially confirmed the collaboration is set for sometime in 2026, though we don't have a specific release window just yet. We also don't know what these sets will be, but there have been some leaks suggesting that these sets are going to be really expensive, as anything made by LEGO usually is.

In the meantime, the only brick-built Pokémon sets you can buy right now of the Mega variety. As one of the better LEGO alternatives on the market, these builds have still been fairly popular over the years with fans of the franchise.
