I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but little toy bricks aren't just for kids anymore. LEGO has been marketing its sets towards adults for years, and at this point many of the post popular builds are meant for an 18+ audience. I myself have joined the AFOL (adult fans of LEGO) community and can tell you first hand that its just as fun as it sounds.
It was only recently that I purchased my first set, but it was one I'd been eyeing for quite some time. The LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant had been calling my name since I first laid eyes upon it, but I kept convincing myself I was too old to buy myself toys and that it was too expensive. But then it dropped under $50 and one of my excuses was gone, so I picked one up for myself. Now I have an adorable Piranha Plant on my desk and no regrets.
So with the price of this set dropping all the way down to $35 for Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale, I feel compelled to tell you that little tale about how a LEGO set has brought a tiny bit of extra joy into my adult life. This is a really fun and easy build that makes for a first LEGO experience at an entry-level price point.
