The Stranger Things finale is fast approaching, and there’s a way to watch the first five minutes of Season 5 Episode 1 early.

The final season of Stranger Things is set to be the TV event of the year. The last chapters are dropping on three separate days – November 26, December 25, and December 31 – meaning the farewell will last for more than a month.

As well as streaming on Netflix, the series finale is also screening in cinemas in a move that has divided some longtime fans.

To celebrate the climax of a TV classic, there are also events planned all over the world, and if you can’t get to them, there’s also one way to join in the fun at home….

How to watch the first five minutes of Stranger Things Season 5 early

The world premiere of Stranger Things 5 is happening in Los Angeles on November 6, 2025, but you can also stream the first five minutes before anyone else from the comfort of your home.

To do that, head to the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere page on Tudum. Beneath the timer ticking down to the event, there’s an RSVP button. Hit that, then a form appears asking for your name, email address, and favorite ST memory.

You don’t need a Netflix account to participate – simply fill out that form for a chance to watch the footage early. You should then receive a confirmation email shortly after.

Here’s what to expect, as per Netflix: “You’re invited to join fellow fans at the ultimate Stranger Things 5 premiere virtual watch party. Live from the red carpet, it will be our greatest adventure yet – a livestream packed with cast interviews, surprise appearances, a sneak peek at the new season and more.”
