Erewhon has unveiled a limited-edition smoothie that offers a “fresh, just brushed feeling” reminiscent of mint toothpaste.

The California-based grocery store has partnered with oral-care brand Boka to introduce the Mint Condition Smile Smoothie, a toothpaste-inspired drink priced at $11 for a 12-ounce cup.

The limited-time smoothie is being marketed as a beverage that captures the “fresh, just-brushed feeling” of Boka’s Ela Mint Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste.

The smoothie blends citrus green tea, coconut milk, fresh mint, mango, and banana with chlorophyll, blue spirulina, and silica. It’s topped with cacao nibs and coconut flakes and contains caffeine from its tea base. It will be available through the end of November at Erewhon’s 14 locations around Los Angeles.

Reactions to the smoothie are split online, with some people sharing their love for it while others slamming the collaboration.

“Oh wow, I wasn’t expecting that… It’s definitely an interesting, acquired taste,” said TikToker NotTashS.

“It was bad,” commented a user under Tash’s post.

Another said: “Yeah, I won’t be getting that one.”
