A TikToker who goes by the name The Jungle Pups has gone viral with her satirical videos showing the “most expensive Labubu in the world.”
Labubu was created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung as his “monsters” in a series of picture books written back in 2015. They’re available for purchase through Pop Mart, but the blind-box packaging means you don’t know which one you’re buying until it’s opened.
They didn’t explode in popularity until 2024, however, after Blackpink’s Lisa and American singer Rihanna were seen with them in a photograph.
Now, a TikToker has gone viral with her satirical videos showing her collection of the world’s most expensive Labubus.
TikToker’s 24k gold Labubu goes viral
The woman began sharing her Labubu collection as soon as they started to gain traction on social media, but it wasn’t until June 2025 that she acquired the “one and only” 24k gold variant.
“I have the one and only 24k gold Labubu,” she said. “Now, this is real 24k gold. Made in the form of a Labubu. He weighs 200g, and it cost us 20,000 pounds to have him made by melting down gold bars.”
“The reason we had one made in 24k gold is because they are going so viral across the internet. We think that what he’s worth will definitely skyrocket.”
Once her first video went viral, users remained skeptical that it was a real gold Labubu. To prove it, she uploaded another clip showing her testing the gold with a magnet. A few days later, she showed herself testing it with a “gold tester.”
TikTok viewers continued to question whether or not the toy was real, so she posted a handful more videos trying to defend herself.
On Monday, July 7, The Jungle Pups revealed that she was the owner of several other rare versions of the toy, including emerald, diamond, and pink diamond variants.
This time, she used a “precious stone detector” that appears to actually be a meat thermometer to prove her “broke haters” wrong. When she held the machine to the toys, a ringtone-like sound played in the video.
“NOT THE RINGTONE TALKING AS ‘NOISE,'” one user commented.
Another replied: “I live how no one can tell she’s joking.”
“I’m crying is that a meat thermometer?” a third asked.
