Chicago rapper Adamn Killa, who is popular on TikTok for taunting police and asking them to “arrest me, daddy,” has been arrested over it.
There have been a number of TikTok trends over the last few years that have seen police have to step in. These have involved trolls kicking the front doors of homes and thieves going after certain makes of cars. Police have also gotten involved on TikTok too, with some making GTA-style videos of arrests.
Well, rapper Adamn Killa, who is based in Chicago, kick-started his own “arrest me, daddy” trend. It has seen him amass close to 1 million followers on Instagram and almost 1.3 million fans on TikTok.
Killa, whose real name is Adam Kelly, has long approached police with his hands behind his back, said his signature line, and then danced when they did not follow through. However, on November 10, police did decided to fulfill his request and arrested him.

As per the Chicago Sun Times, Kelly was handcuffed and detained by police after he interrupted them dealing with a traffic stop. The rapper was held in the back of a police car for a short time before being released without charges.
“I got out and I went and made more ‘Arrest me, daddy’ videos right after,” Kelly told the Chicago Sun Times.
He also said that his point behind the trend is to make a statement, opening police up after “hiding” badges and their identity.
The rapper posted a set of his signature videos on November 11, with the police involved saying “come on, bro,” laughing and shaking his head while laughing at Kelly’s dance.
Other officers laughed at the rapper for approaching them, and didn’t put him in cuffs – which is how it usually goes.
It remains to be seen if Kelly will be arrested again as he continues to make the videos.
