On November 9, Heard’s daughter, Mykel Crumbie, announced that he had died following a health battle that had seen him require a hospital visit. He ultimately fell into a coma.

“My daddy man… I’ma miss you so much king, this is crazy to me and you really messing up the family with this one” she posted on Facebook. “IDC who didn’t love my father and didn’t like his lifestyle and wished death on him! This was the greatest man to live on this earth. The love and compassion he had is unmatched.

Crumbie posted photos of her father in a hospital bed with family and friends visiting him. The cause of his death has not been revealed, though there has been speculation online from fans about it, leading to claims from AI.

Heard, who ran the LoveAndLightTV channels across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, regularly gave out life advice and released motivational videos.

He also interspersed those with adult-themed skits, which prompted the ‘Yes King’ sound that became incredibly popular on TikTok.

The sound was typically used in food reviews, but was also used by other motivational speakers too in their own videos. The ‘Yes King’ would typically follow affirmations, especially for male viewers.

Heard’s death has prompted a wave of tributes across social media, with many of his videos being reposted by viewers on TikTok especially.

“Beyond his infamous catchphrases, he was a beacon of motivation and strength. He will be missed,” one said. “Imma miss you man, RIP,” fellow creator Dreamy added. “RIP LoveandlightTV. Thanks for blessing my insta feed with your audios,” another commented.
